  It has really good suction on the windscreen (haven't used the pad yet), held my phone (Galaxy S7) really securely both in landscape and portrait mode, has a button for easy release, and the power cable can plug in easily.
  The cable I got was a usb c, so i couldn't use it with my phone, but I probably should have checked that and I had spare cables so not a problem.

  This is a quality Samsung phone holder , it comes with 3m adhesive tape on a disk that we have stuck to the dashboard. This enables you the choice of screen suction mount or screen mount .
  It has a 1.5 metre lead on a USBC fast charger which is long enough to reach from centre console to anywhere on the screen.
